About Candace Davies
Candace Davies leads this team of highly qualified and experienced writers as the Owner and President of the Canadian Resume Writing Service. She founded the company in 1999 when she and over 40 other workers were hit by company downsizing after numerous years of working as a branch manager.
Candace began her career in this field by providing casual career and job search advice to many of her workers, offering to write their resumes and job references. After the company downsized, she began to get referrals from those she had helped and so continued writing resumes and offering career advice to their friends and family members.
What began as a desire to help co-workers has now blossomed into an incredibly fulfilling, 11+ Career Management career. She now enjoys working with clients located all over the world, from all walks of life, and in all industries. She has also founded the Canadian Career Connection, a free career newsletter that is delivered to over 12,000 subscribers weekly.
